I learned that contributing to WordPress is not only about coding, but also about helping a global community in different ways. In my case, contributing photos showed me that original images can also be valuable and useful for many people.
I also learned that this kind of work requires patience, consistency, and attention to detail. I had to wait many time to have my photos approved.
If I could change something, I would organize my photos better from the beginning and prepare more images in advance. That would make the process faster and easier. Regarding the course, I would expect improved organization, more specific processes, and more detailed descriptions for the posts.
My work connects with the global WordPress community because every approved photo becomes a free resource that other people can use in their own projects, that gives value to all the photos.
This experience helped me to become more confident and more interested in photography, I want to keep contributing in this photo world. And, on a professional level, I learned that I have to be organized and follow the steps.
And I learned to search and do things for myself, in most cases.
This was a valuable experience, and I am proud of what I achieved through this contribution.
